Big improvement, low cost(06.11.2009)
Cut my GP100's double action pull from 10lbs to 8lbs and single action from 4lbs 9oz to 3lbs 4oz with reliable ignition
Easy to install, inexpensive and comes with enough of a spring selection to tailor pull with any factory spring starting point.
Perfect(29.11.2009)
Easily installed, perfect functionality. Makes my gp better than most smiths.
gp 100 must have(12.06.2012)
Not too hard to install. Nice double action now & hair trigger single action. I like it.
Great KIt(24.07.2012)
Awesome Kit, great quality and Price. would recommend to anyone. brought down single action to a 3LB 2oz Pull feels awesome.
inexpensive trigger job that works(01.02.2014)
This spring kit really smoothed out and lightened the trigger pull on my GP100. A little tricky to install if you have never done this before. Which is why I only gave it 4 stars. Watch videos on you tube several times before attempting and take your time, particularly with removing the original trigger spring. Very pleased with the results.
Perfect kit for the GP100(11.08.2015)
All you'll need to spiff up the action of your GP100. The one con for "fitting required" is only if you want the last little bit of reduction. Now sure the springs have lesser tension per inch of spring, but what I've noticed is that if you lay these springs against the factory spring you'll notice that the factory spring is much shorter. So when you get the lesser tension, but longer spring into place it ends up being more pull than anticipated by quite a large margin. I simply get the tension of spring that I want and then lay it beside the factory spring cutting the new spring to match the length of the factory one. If you place the cut end against the hammer side of the strut, you'll find it seats quite nicely into a fixed position and won't get wonky on you. The pull ends up being quite nice and representative of the reduced weights listed. Give it a try, remember you'll still have the factory spring and two additional reduced power springs if you mess up or have a failure to fire. Worth a look I figure. Smithy.
