Protects USGI Mags From Impact On Hard Surfaces & Aids Extraction From Mag Pouches

The L-Plate is a replacement floor plate for current-issue USGI 30-round magazines that gives your AR mag a soft, rubber bumper pad that cushions it from damage when ejected on the hard ground. Low-profile – adds only ½" to mag when installed – yet also provides a secure grasping point for pulling mags quickly from mag pouches. Stainless steel core is overmolded with tough, durable Santoprene rubber, so the L-Plate handles all the tactical and competition abuse you can dish out. Holes through the L-Plate let you add paracord pull loops. Perfect enhancement for Brownells 20- and 30-round AR-15/M16 magazines.

Die L-Plate ist eine Ersatzbodenplatte für aktuelle USGI 30-Schuss-Magazine, die deinem AR-Mag eine weiche, gummierte Bumperplatte verleiht, die es vor Schäden schützt, wenn es auf den harten Boden geworfen wird. These go on extremely easy and are a great inexpensive upgrade for your old mags.

Great way to add some protection to your GI magazines. Installation is easy, and fit is perfect. These don't take up as much room inside your mag pouches like other designs.

These are a nice addition for my USGI mags. I hated dropping a mag (even an empty one) onto concrete at the range. The L-Plates provide a respectable degree of protection for my old workhorses.

One issue, easily corrected: The lock plates have a slight burr/ridge at both ends (about 1 mm) left over from the manufacturing process. (See photo) These burrs can cause the lock plate to bind inside the mag and not properly engage the rubber bottom plate. The burrs are easily & quickly removed with a bit of fine grit sandpaper. It's such an easy fix that I still highly recommend them.
