Bedingt empfehlenswert

VERY aggressive - it's anti-slip tape! 08.02.2018

On a plus note, you get a lot for your money - enough to do a half-dozen pistols and slides!

I'm bummed: this is exactly anti-slip tape you put on stairs or other smooth surfaces to keep from slipping!

(aka "skateboard grip tape") I guess there are rougher 'grits' available, and this feels almost - but not quite - like 120 grit wet/dry.

Unlike my Kershaw "Blur" (for example) which has panels of a textured rubbery material like a ground up Kraton, this stuff will abrade skin off!

I don't see how you could holster a pistol after putting it on a slide?

I bought this primarily for my large CRKT Crawford-Kasper knife, and to try on my Gen 1 model 19. It will be VERY difficult to pull my knife out of the pants pocket with this on! It would work for a bench top tool, not a carry knife...

I may try it on the Glock, but worry that if my initial grasp is off, re-positioning will be next to impossible!

A needed item in your bag of tricks! 06.06.2017

I'm not a fan of "skateboard tape" but am open minded. I have had mixed results with different brands and cuts. You can't go wrong with this. It holds up and works, and is a good temporary or permanent solution to checkering (may need changed at some point). This is long lasting and holds up to cleaning. Price vs value = get extra and play with it!

Needs better adhesive 27.01.2012

Got this to put on polymer pistol grips. My issue with these grip strips is the lack of good adhesion. Modern adhesives are better than ever and there is no excuse for the weak mixture of adhesive used on this product. Proper surface degreasing prep was done, and this grip tape still failed to adhere with any strength. The strips don't stick well with the very minimum of usage. After any real life usage such as sliding in and out of concealed waistband holsters and exposure to body heat, the adhesive on this product will give up and the tape will dislodge. I'd rather have a strong adhesive and cut grip tape to fit before attaching it than weak adhesive that renders the whole process a waste of time. Evidently the manufacturer of this grip tape was more concerned about negative responses from consumers who fail to install properly and are not aware of advanced adhesive removers out there that will not harm polymer surfaces than making a serious grip tape product.
