Assolutamente raccomandato

Sub-Moa in a Savage model 10 11.09.2017

All of my brass has been once fired through my rifle only, so I primarily use the neck sizing die only and full length size only if the brass gets to tight to chamber. First reloads with these dies produced accurate and repeatable results, and all groups were between 1-2". After testing with different charge weights, powder, and seating depth groups dropped down to a consistent sub-moa groups. avg around 3/4.

Lee Prcision 4-Die set advantages 09.03.2017

Most of the Lee sets do not always include the Factory Crimp die. This is why I opted for the 4 die set. The included shell holder is not something you get with RCBS and other Die sets. Since I use a Universal De-priming die for almost every case, the pin in the full length re-sizing die is the first thing to go. I still need to use a Small base resizing die set for brass fired in other rifles. I reload for both an M1A and a DPMS Recon G2. For 7.62x51 and .308 this set is all you need for new brass . Once fired brass might need both the Lee set and an additional SB resizing die to cover all of your needs. I have Lee die sets for many rifle and pistol calibers... as well as Hornady and RCBS and others. Reliable and accurate for my needs.

Great Die Set, With Caveats. 30.06.2015

I have all Lee die sets and these are right up there in quality. While the info is all there in the description I'd just like to reiterate a few points to the prospective buyer.

This set has two sizing die, full length and collet. When I saw the four die set I jumped to the "they finally included the die for all four holes in my turret press, including factory crimp and charging die!" conclusion. No. If you want to use the Auto-Disk you must still buy the charging die. I didn't remember that from my .300 BLK die set.

These are not carbide. The wording in the description is a little ambiguous but the "no lube required" claim is ONLY for the collet die. Still, that claim seems to be what sticks in the reader's mind. I have seen this mistake in reviews and even in talking with a Brownells product rep. I even called Lee to double check as the instructions talk about lubing the cases. Since others made this mistake, too, I don't feel so badly that I did.

All in all, this set is for the precision loader so if you do not have a bolt action .223 you should save the difference and get the three die set. I'll be keeping this set since I do have an FN .223 bolt action and might someday want to reload the brass that came out of it to a little higher spec than my AR loads.

Just be aware of your needs before buying this set. Great stuff, though, as always from Lee Precision.
