Glass-filled nylon rifle stocks fit onto standard A1/A2 buffer tubes and add adjustments and extra features to AR-15 rifles, including most .308 models. Stocks feature textured rubber recoil pads and 2 QD sling sockets for fast sling mounting and dismounting. Modular Stock gives an adjustable cheek rest, and adjustable length of pull. Weighs less compared to other adjustable stocks. Skeleton Stock has futuristic appearance, and helps reduce weight. Will not fit on carbine buffer tubes. Includes Allen wrench for mounting. Sold Separately: Uncle Mike's QD Sockets can be epoxied into socket on the side of each stock, use part# 593-000-038.

Best stock ever! (26.04.2017)

This is a good, solid stock that's an excellent value compared to the more expensive Magpul stock. It's easy to install and works perfectly. And it looks pretty darn cool to boot. I had no problems with the fit and function on my DPMS Gen 1 LR-308. Highly recommended.

Solid (04.11.2014)

Good solid stock. Took a few seconds to install on a DPMS bull 24 replacing the standard A2. Range of adjustment is good as well. Once put on the rifle and adjustments are tightened down its unmovable. Overall a good alternative to other more expensive PRS stocks which was its intended purpous. Also worthy to notice is it comes with a hex key that has a molded in holding spot (rock solid as well) in-case adjustmets need to be made in the field.

Good Value (25.04.2015)

Bought this stock for 3 Gun comps. It has a great adjustment range and sits well in the shoulder.

Installed this on a Armalite lower. Charge handle would not move to the rear due to the stock being too thick and binding the charge handle. Be prepared to file and sand down the top of the stock to get the charge handle to function and not bind. Not all brands of rifles have this problem, but it is common in several. It would be a 5 star product if not for this issue.

Luth should also include more details on sling mount options in their instructions as there are several ways to do so, with one method hidden.

Luth-AR Buttstock (24.08.2015)

Bought this when building a SPR AR. I was looking at the Magpul but the price on those was another $100 at least. So I decided to take a gamble on one I didn't know and hadn't seen. I am so glad I did. It fit perfect. Works great and does everything I can imagine I need. I have held the Magpul and don't find it any better. The one thing I noticed is the screw heads rusted on me the other day. Just the two in the butt plate. I'll switch them for Stainless soon. Or paint them.

As for the one review saying they had to fit it by filing it down. They either had a bad part or their upper or charging handle was machined wrong. I have no such issues.

Great Ergonomics! (13.10.2015)

I purchased this stock for my DPMS LR-308 over the Magpul PRS, because it does the same thing at half the price and weight. The quality, fit and finish are top notch, and the lock up is rock solid once installed. The adjustment thumb screws are tight and hold under pressure from my check and shoulder, even when slung up tight! It only took me about 10 mins to install and adjust LOP and check rest. Ease of use, tough construction and limitless sling attachments points are all are nice touches. Letâs face it for this prices point you cannot find a better stock for a long range semi-auto precision rifle.

Pictured is the LR-308 with JP Handguards, Versa-pod model 52, Slip Cuff quick-release sling and SWFA SS 12x42 in Leupold Mark4 ringsâ¦ and the Luth-AR MBA of course! Thanks for everything Brownells you guys are the greatest!

This in an update to my previous review, for some reason my picture didnât get attachedâ¦ Iâm technologically challenged I guessâ¦. Once again Iâd like to state that this is an excellent product and after firing many rounds through my rifle with this stock on I can honestly say that, not only has it increased the ergonomics of my gun, but my groups sizes have gotten smaller as well! I have NOT had any problems with charging handle clearance while using my BCM med handle... of course, your results may vary, but over all Iâm very happy with this piece of gear!
