Failing extension Spring pin 29.04.2018
First off I will say this, the style and limited profile of this stock is excellent. It makes a great shoulder weld and is a sturdy build, up and to a certain degree which makes the design an over all poor rating in my opinion. The extension detention lever is a series of parts that have to work together to extend and retract the stock. The lever, a through pin, a spring and the adjust pin lock. The failure is at the through pin which is pressed onto by the lever and in turn depresseses the spring/adjust pin. The through pin is held in place by the constant pressure of the lever and spring/adjust pin pressing against the through pin from opposite sides. If the pressure stops, the through pins slides out making the adjustable stock inoperable. Unless you see or hear the through pin fall out, youâre probably going to lose it. I hope this helps in fixing and creating a better design. I donât get to the range a lot so I havenât lost the pin, yet, but If you plan on using this a lot be ready to lose the pin. Without a design fix I canât recomend this product that will leave the user unable to use it properly.

I purchased 2 of the AR-15 Battlelink Minimalist Stocks (Mil-Spec) to go on two builds which were waiting on the stocks. The buffer tubes and assemblies were from BCM and Spikes.
The fit on the BCM was extremely tight. So much so the wife would not be able to use the stock. Not the stocks fault.
The fit on the Spikes tube was absolutely perfect. Very smooth slide on the marked (1-6) buffer tube. No rattling. This will be the wife's lower.
I will be replacing the BCM tube with a Spikes tube as it is a perfect fit with the AR-15 Battlelink Minimalist.

Great part, required some minor filing for a perfect smooth fit. Mine was pretty tight but five minutes with a very fine file and it's perfect.

I recently purchased this stock for my lightweight AR build. This stock is light as a feather and has absolutely NO wiggle to it.

Excellent stock choice for a lightweight build, ideal with a 6 position tube for length of pull. Very pleased with the snug fit on the buffer tube; a light spray of rem oil aided in movement and absolutely no rattle or loud clicks when adjusting. The name says it all, Minimalist for the shooter that doesn't believe in extra stuff on their rifle for no reason. This stock just flat works

No wobble or rattle, very secure and snug fit, light weight, and angled bottom for those of that wear body armor or that have pecks. I have 1 on all my ARs. Perfect for my job.

Based on good reviews on another site I decided to give it a try. It is much stiffer to adjust, both with the release and the actual sliding on the tube than other stocks. It also comes up a little short on maximum length of pull, though I don't know if there are variances in tube assemblies that could account for that. On the plus side, it looks and feels good and has no wobble at all.
