The M14ALCS Enhanced Battle Rifle Chassis Stock System is precision CNC machined from a solid billet of high strength aircraft grade aluminum. Fits Mil-Spec M1A/M14 rifles with standard or medium weight barrels. The M14ALCS is a drop-in chassis and features a six position telescoping stock and an adjustable polymer cheek rest with two inches of vertical adjustment. Additionally the chassis includes five Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rails, three ambidextrous sling mounts, a removable Kydex forend with a built in palm swell, and a soft one inch recoil pad. Rigidity of the chassis increases accuracy and reliability and is achieved through the use of a patented replacement operating rod guide block. Precision machined receiver lug recesses also eliminate the need for additional bedding. Fitting SAGE EBR chassis to non Mil-Spec/Commercial rifles may require additional gunsmithing. Does NOT accept rear-lugged receivers.

Great and heavy(15.02.2015)
I ordered this stock from a diffrent site and waited 4 months to get it. Took me a few minutes to install and went together easily.
You can see the iron sights throught the rails on top.
Adjustable cheeck for scopes. Made pretty well.
Now the weapon is almost 17 lbs with all the highspeed lightweight gear. Every bit of it is lightwieght; it's just 17 lbs of it.
Great results(09.04.2015)
The other user on here mentions that his rifle is heavier with this chassis on the gun and he's right. Depending on what you're looking for this might not matter too much. With some ammo that I loaded myself I've shot .5inch groups with this gun. I need to upgrade my scope for one thats stronger. That may allow me to either shoot those groups easier or shoot a few better. Either way, .5 inch groups with a standard M1A is pretty good. No match grade barrel on it. The key is the barrel whip control screw. I messed around with it and until I found the right amount of tightness and saw my groups tighten significantly. This is the key part of the chassis.
Good Stock(21.10.2015)
I would have to agree with the other reviewers, it does make the rifle heavy. But I've gotten used to it, and I think it makes my rifle shoot better. In fact, I liked it so much that I encouraged a few friends to pick one up too. I gave it 4 stars because of the weight, and the price.
EBR stock on M1A NM(06.05.2016)
This is not a normal stock by any means. You have to understand the science behind this thing to understand its cost to value ratio. It makes recoil next to nothing, as well as smoothing out the op-rod cycling. It DOES tighten up accuracy. My gun was having an accuracy problem that started just a few months ago. Rifle was doing 1 inch groups average 3 years ago with scope. Recently was barely able to get 3 inch with scope. Decided to take gun back to bare bones and start to rebuild with this stock as the first add on. Groups on first day of shooting with it printed 1.25 average at 100 yards, with Two (2) groups managing about .75 inch, WITH JUST SIGHTS. So guess what, it works!!! When my scope is reapplied that will become tighter yet. Possibly .5 groups, with fingers crossed.
If you have the cash just go for it people. This thing is worth it.
Just FYI, its heavy as hell, so don't plan on walking the plains with it without a proper tactical sling so your back and shoulders take the weight, and not your arms.
The best stock, with some quarks(28.07.2018)
I got this as part of a project after a long overseas deployment where my love of the EBR started. I built it up with a loaded M1A barreled action and Smith Enterprise NM parts. This costly project has become my favorite rifle in the safe. The stock is expensive, but so is the M1A so that's kind of a mute point. The stock is heavy, but other then a few body builders at the range, everyone buys this stock with a Harris bipod in mind. Once sighted in groups were sub moa, and wether I shot it, my wife, a novice first time shooter or my revolver shooting mum got on it. There were no misses. Just adjust the stock for the shooter and ring steel at too 400. Past that you may need some iota of skill. A surprise is how hard it can be to seat a mag. The chassis makes it just a tad more difficult due to some pressure either from the sides or front back, which can be remedied with a file, but for my purpose that hasn't been necessary. It's a true head Turner at the range for anyone who doesn't know what it is or has played video games in the last 10 years. Recoil is light. My 44 mag Marlin bucks more then this rifle, which has made it a favorite with friends trying to get their wives or kids into shooting. If you love the garands or M14 action, and are single or have an understanding wife, this is definitely a no brainier. It's very easy to go from 1,700 to 3 grand with this build in no time. But in the end, I will be buried with this rifle. It's not my most accurate rifle, but it is my favorite.
