Extra large Forming Punch has sufficient mass for complete control, lets you apply just the right amount of striking force to precisely bend and shape bolt handle to final contour. With a little practice you can forge the handle so nicely that only a bit of finishing is needed. Punch has curved, removable, hardened tip that retains its shape with repeated use. Complete instructions explain the entire process.
3½" (8.9cm) de long. 2" (5cm) de haut. Poinçon - 1" (2.5cm) de diamètre, 8-7/8" (22.5cm) de long.

Fitting required(24.07.2010)
Blocks were .030" too small for my VZ24 bolts. Had to ream them to size to be able to use. Worked well after they were fitted.
good for what it is... cheep(22.11.2010)
although it is listed for Mauser bolts the jig is bored smaller than any Mauser bolt, and will need to modified.
the set screw in the mandrel needs to be rethought fell apart every time when you needed it most...
after fixing these problems I was good to go...
Happy with this purchase.(10.03.2012)
I wanted to buy this to save the time it would take to make one. I was concerned about the fit based on the other two reviews.
It's not an issue. It does fit snug but I'd much rather have that than a loose fit.
I added a socket cap screw to hold the two pieces together so I could chuck it in a lathe for knob work without the two pieces sliding around while I dialed it in. When I tightened the screw the two sides didn't quite sit flush together, so I ground the teeth off a piece of an old hacksaw blade and used it as a shim between the two pieces. I'd much rather do that than ream it and risk a loose fit.
Worked great for me for lathe work, bolt forging and mill work.
It would be nice if it came with a screw to fasten the two pieces together.
Works(28.02.2018)
Used this fixture to move the bolt on a 98 out of the way of the scope. Worked exactly as advertised. Good less expensive alternative for customers not wanting to have a new handle welded on.
needs more work(22.11.2010)
if you are like me and do this stuff by your self... Be aware it needs to be tightened up and a re-leaf cut on the tang of the head in the set screw area to keep it to gather... it will fall apart when you are working the bolt... really hard to work with when the head falls of and rolls across the floor...
