Standard spirit levels are typically mounted on the main tube or as accessories on the scope mounts, which requires the shooting position to be adjusted to check the level, or the non-shooting eye has to focus on the spirit level. This is where THE SPIRIT LEVEL comes into play. Due to its smart mounting position on the underside of the eyepiece, the spirit level stays in the user’s field of view. Its slight blurriness is not an issue, as the position of the bubble is still easily discernible. With a bit of practice, the spirit level can be used intuitively while maintaining focus on the reticle. To make it suitable for hunting use, a fluorescent material is integrated behind the spirit level body, enhancing its visibility without being intrusive. If the brightness is insufficient during twilight, a quick illumination with a light source will suffice. In testing, the spirit level could be removed from the eyepiece without leaving residue; the easiest method was to insert several toothpicks or similar soft materials between the spirit level and the eyepiece. With patience, the adhesive pad slowly detaches from the glass. The goal was to develop a simple, easy-to-mount, effective, and affordable alternative to the variants available on the market.
