Eliminates Hammer & Trigger Wobble For Consistent Trigger Break
Oversize pins hold hammer and trigger in precise alignment without the free play and camming action that prevents a clean and consistent trigger letoff. Moly impregnated to reduce friction. Hex-head screws locate pins to frame, eliminate the need for the hammer J spring. Installation may require reaming hammer for proper fit.
SPECS: Tool steel, moly coated. Small - .156" (3.9mm). Pack of two pins.

Clean slim profile(19.12.2009)
I like the low profile clean look of these pins. Down side was they required some minor fitting on my reciever. Just put them in a drill press and used extra fine sandpaper to make them fit.
ok But non rotating are better(17.07.2010)
Pins work well but are a pain in the but to install, the non-rotating pins which are much more expensive are much better and install a lot easier.
Easy to install(04.02.2011)
I own a DD AR15. I put a Timney trigger in it but the pins started walking out at around 500 rds. I just got these and installed them. Not hard to install for the DD AR pinholes. Had slight resistance after pre-lubing during the tap-in. The screws were a bit resistant, but snug. No adhesive needed. These aren't coming out any time soon.
New Build for a 6.8 SPC(10.07.2011)
I've had AR's in the past with moving pin's. When I did my new build 6.8, I put them in from the start. It say's in the direction's you might need to ream the hole's, I used a 5/32 carbide drill bit. So far , so good !
For a crisp, clean trigger break!(07.09.2011)
Improved the ever so subtle side-to-side slop with factory retension pins. Required a small amount of tapping and are held firm in place with no rotation. The screws are not even necessary, given the amount of tension between the receiver and the pin. However, backup fail safe is always welcome. prelube the pins prior to install, no drilling required with genuine milspec components (SW MP15 parts kit).
Good product.(29.11.2011)
Installed easlily on a Bushmaster but required fitting on a DPMS. With that said, I would recommend getting a gunsmith to install it. The screws are well coated in blue locktite, or similar material, and needs to be thinned out to install. After that, it works as described.
Great idea but.....(29.11.2011)
The first set of these I installed quickly without any issues. Then I bought these and my expectations quickly sank. I didn't have to do anything to the pins. They slipped in place quite easily. My problem is, I believe, with the thread lock they put on the screws. The screws went about half way in and then became very difficult to install. The screw heads won't take the amount of torque required to tighten them properly. Also, it would help if they would either include the proper size wrench or at least state the correct size to be used. Leaving the loc-tite off may be a good place to start.
Good product to solve pin walkout.(11.12.2011)
Easy install on my DPMS. Lube before install. Can be used to just drive out the old pins. Need to remove most of the locktite from the screws before install with a wire brush on your dremil. I do wish they would supply a Allen wrench with product. Failure to remove some of the locktite could cause you to round out the screw head with your Allen wrench. Good product and solved pin walkout for A very reasonable price.
Outstanding Product that worked(29.12.2011)
I used on my LR-.308 TM Lower and it worked great. I used with a high end drop-in trigger and had no problems.
A Must for Timney Triggers(05.11.2012)
Almost a requirement if you are using a drop in trigger module, such as Timney Triggers. You will need a small hammer (Brass), and gun lube (slip 2000 worked for me). Lube one end, position over opening, and tap lightly until seated.
A must for "plastic" recievers(14.01.2013)
Super easy to install on Vulcan lowers. Solved cronic pin walking on other lowers as well. I have spilt the kit and used them on just the trigger pins to cover more firearms. bought 2 kits, found them to be functional and reliable...bought more.
Works WITH M&P 15-22(05.08.2013)
Good for use with after market drop in triggers and the M&P15-22, but does not fit exactly. The pins are longer than normal pins and will work, but the screws do not bottom out. Also the pins don't come with an allen wrench, uses a 1/16th.
was pleased(29.08.2013)
I purchased these pins I was having an issue with my trigger pin drifting out of my receiver I am very pleased with the fit of these pins other reviewers said the pins were too long they were longer than my receiver but by a very short nominal amount I also like the look of them over stander pins
Good idea, poor execution(26.09.2013)
Remington R-25, no reaming, they were about 1/16" too long S&W M&P 15-22, no reaming, they fit perfect. As others have noted, I spent 30 minutes getting the hardened Loctite off the screws and 5 minutes installing the pins. Of course, the finish was gone from the screws after trying to get all of the Loctite off. Trigger action seems good and I don't think the screws are going to come loose, but will check them anyway. The directions say to apply Loctite red, good luck every trying to get them out, you would be drilling them out with any Loctite (blue or red) being applied. The 1/16" Allen head screw can't take the torque.
Not for me(14.06.2016)
I have experienced pins walking out before & don't use standard pins anymore. Have used the "anti-rotation" type before with good results but decided to try these based on the lower comparative price. I am returning them. The screw heads did not sit flush against the sides of my cmmg lower. Not a huge deal, but I didn't like it. Have read another review where someone filled the gaps with washers they painted black but it wasn't worth the effort imo. In the description it says "eliminates the need for hammer j spring." It does not say "requires removal of" but it should. Maybe I should've read more reviews? Did not have a problem with the pre-applied loktite like others. Tried with psa ept trigger & it would not go thru hammer without removing j spring. I did not want to do this, so I ordered those "anti-rotation" pins instead. I think they're worth the higher price. JP makes great products & these pins may work for some but only speaking for myself, not what I was looking for.
Great pins(12.11.2016)
I installed these on a DPMS and a Spikes lower. The Spikes has a 2 stag target trigger that had some side to side play.
These pins took the side play out completely and made the trigger pull more constant when using an electronic fish scale to check pull.
They do fit tight. I used a plastic screwdriver handle to tap them in place. I just came back to order more for a Stag lower build.
I didn't do anything to the screws when installing them. But I did use 2 screw drivers with the proper size bit to turn them in.
Perfect to Complete Trigger Conversion(30.03.2017)
I upgraded the stock trigger of my SRC-308 to an Elf unit, and found this nicely made pin set to be the perfect option to insure that everything stays in place until you want to remove it. Will be performing the same operation on my Colt M4, and these pins will be used for this as well.
Get you some of these(26.06.2017)
These pins are a must for my CMC triggers Makes an already great trigger perfect. Also make great spares.
Too long(06.07.2018)
The pins are about 1mm longer than they should be so the screws do not fit flush against the receiver. The screws are likely to catch on things and would probably end up scratching me if I keep using them. I have an Aero Precision Lower and I highly doubt it's the lower that's out of spec.
