The BENCH-SOURCE case neck annealing machine is used exclusively to anneal and refurbish your Bottle Neck and Long Straight Wall cartridge cases for reloading. It will restore your case necks to ‘like new’ condition and extend the life of your cartridge cases. The net result is reduced reloading cost and improved accuracy. The uniformity of case neck tension will allow you to seat your bullets with less run out and more consistency in your reloads. Can be used with one or two heat sources since the cartridge case spins on a stationary spindle while heating. Heating times can be adjusted from 1.5 to 10 seconds. Manufactured out of aluminum and fan cooled; no plastic to bow or warp and the table acts as a heat sink to ensure cartridge case head integrity. This unit will process about 500-600 cartridges per hour, expect an average time of 4-5 seconds for heating and 2 seconds for indexing for a standard 308 case.

Outstanding. Consistent, easy to use.(12.01.2017)
I have used mine from 5.56/.223 up to 45-100. Much easier and more consistent than by hand.
Our blackpowder cartridge rifles are for competition so our Starline brass gets annealed after each firing. In the past three years I have run about 15-20,000 cases, all are done uniformly. I set the torches and timer in the dark, once I get it dialed in I turn the lights back on I can feed the machine and still take the occasional sip from my beverage of choice.
My wife can now anneal her 40-65 and 40-82 with no problem. Good for me!ð
Very Good Unit(12.01.2017)
I use this unit for all my rifle brass (Lapua) and it works perfectly every time. I've had mine for about 4 years now. It allows the flame fronts to be aimed very nicely for proper neck/shoulder anneal. The dwell time can be set very precisely and is simple to adjust via the indexed timer knob. When the indexing plate is properly adjusted, the unit will center the cases perfectly on the case spinning platform, assuring even heating.
The only area I think needs a little improvement is the all-in-one nozzle holders-if they had separate knobs for the nozzle clinch vs the fixed clinch, I think it'd be a little easier to adjust when moving from one case to another. I'd still highly recommend this unit. Glad to see Brownells / Sinclair carrying this unit.
Buy once, Cry once!(12.01.2017)
Bought a BenchSource annealing machine a few years ago directly from BenchSource. Have never once regretted my purchase. The unit is very well made and has held up. You'd never know looking at mine that I've run close to 10,000 pieces of brass through it already. If you are going to be running a lot of brass, bite the bullet and have yourself a hose made up that will feed your 2 torches off of a 20 lb. propane cylinder - 8 foot hose, one end connects to 20 lb. cylinder, the other end has a T with 2, 1-1/2 or 2 foot hoses with fittings to screw into your torch heads.
Machine is very easy to set up and use. Adjustment of flame and dwell time is super easy. Take some notes for each caliber you do, noting ambient temp, brass brand, caliber. This will give you a starting point for future runs of brass.
If you shoot though a lot of brass and want to really extend the life, get into annealing your own. Sure you can do it cheap using a drill and socket over a torch, but you will not get the speed and consistency that you will with a dedicated annealing machine. You could also send your brass off and pay someone else to do it for you........ going rate is somewhere around .10 cents per round. Using .10 cents per piece of brass, you can see that payback is somewhere between 5000 - 6000 rounds if you add in a custom hose and 20 lb. cylinder
Great quality product(13.01.2017)
The quality of the materials and workmanship are excellent on this machine. I've been using this for about 2 years now and have annealed thousands of cases and it still looks and performs as new. The set up is fairly simple, the results are excellent and repeatable and it can process the brass pretty quickly.
The biggest down side is the fact that you have to constantly feed the turn table with new brass - there is no hopper or feeding mechanism for large batches.
Simply the best(11.08.2017)
This is a real customer review. I've used the BenchSource annealer for about four years now and am very, very pleased with the unit. Mostly I anneal just my 308 Lapua and 300WM Norma brass, and haven't used the machine on other calibers. It's very fast and the setup takes only about five minutes. One striking aspect of the machine is how very well it is made. There's a level of quality and precision that's incorporated into these annealers that you rarely find in products nowadays. So, I highly recommend this product to any serious precision shooter that wants to extend the life of their brass investment.
Everything You Need; Nothing You Don't (25.05.2018)
I anneal all my hunting and comp brass. I anneal every second loadout. I anneal a lot. This machine can handle it.
Whether you run two bottles or a 20-pounder with hoses, you'll get consistency every stinkin' time.
High quality, ease of set up, quick tuning and consistent brass.
So it doesn't have a feed hopper...who cares? If you're booked that tight while at the bench you need to make some adjustments in your life.
You could spend $1000.00+ on that new foreign made unit, but why? Spend half that amount and get the SAME consistent results folks. If you could operate them side-by-side you'd agree. Spend the money you save on another gadget for your bench.
