Self-contained module is ready to install in your small-pin AR and deliver an exceptionally smooth, crisp, creep-free single-stage trigger pull that feels more like a traditional bolt action than a combat rifle trigger. 100% drop-in—no gunsmithing, fitting, or adjusting required. All components are captive in the lightweight, aluminum alloy housing. Hammer is wire-EDM machined from S7 tool steel that combines hardness to resist wear with superior impact resistance to withstand heavy use without chipping or breaking. Other components are EDM cut from A2 tool steel, then heat treated to Rc 56-60 for long service life. Precision-ground engagement surfaces ensure superb reliability and a crisp, clean hammer release. Installs using your rifle’s original hammer/trigger pins; proprietary design eliminates pin walkout.

Ordered on Sat over Labor Day weekend shipped Tue arrived Thu (great), watched a couple of vids, installed very easy no issues, went to the range on Sat shot like a dream, that's good cause my old trigger is in a pile O pieces in a bag somewhere

Good trigger (28.10.2013)

Opperation of the trigger is phenominal! Butter smooth, nice clean break, no take up. Giving it 4 stars for one flaw...the retention system for the trigger and hammer pins loosens after firing, so after a day at the range these pins fall free out with no resistence. Gave it a couple chances, figured maybe a break in thing, but now after 3 times of the same problem I have had to take corrective action. A little loctite on the pressure screws that are supposed to hold the pins in has helped prevent them from loosening, but I also got some anti-walk pins that will further capture the hammer/trigger pins. Product works well, but for a gun that see's hard field use there are some reliability issues that if not addressed can leave you hanging.

Great In The Desert! (16.01.2011)

I have a Colt 6721. The trigger is notorious for being sloppy, and this one is no exception. In lieu of running 2500+ rounds thru it to 'loosen' it up, I put this Timney in. What a difference! Tight, crisp 3-lb. pull, easy to adjust to. I would definitely recommend this trigger, but think twice about wearing gloves.

I have had this trigger installed on a very early S&W MP15T for several years. Thousands of rounds have been fired using the trigger with no problems, failures or issues of any kind.This is an excllent product and a great imporvement over the factory trigger.

My trigger was factory installed by the S&W Performance Center gunsmiths, so I can't comment on ease of installation.

Awesome trigger (08.07.2011)

I bought this trigger assembly at the NRA convention here in Charlotte a year or so ago. Unfortunately Brownells did not offer it yet. The assembly is extremely simple to install and is by far the best trigger I have ever felt on any AR style platform (its also the best looking). It is currently in my Stag 2T and I have had no issues. I would also not recomend this trigger to anyone shooting with gloves of any kind.

Timney AR-15 Trigger (25.09.2011)

Superb fit and finish. Dead easy install; not sure why some folks find it difficult. I'd rate it a 1.5 on the scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being "bring in a pro". Read the enclosed instructions, it's very straightforward.

Light trigger, crisp, you'll want to be thoughtful using gloves because it has very little take up- it breaks with very little pressure.

I would have preferred a two stage and that's what I thought I ordered, but this will work super well.

Also- I loved the spiritual thought included! Great to see that.

Great Trigger with surprises (08.08.2012)

A very good drop in trigger. But, if you're actually building a rifle and not merely replacing your trigger group - make sure you order the pins as Timney doesn't supply any with their 250.00 trigger! My wilson combat two stage I used on another build came with the pins.

Much better (02.09.2013)

Installed on a Colt cr6724 after trying the J&P spring kit on the factory trigger. Now is feels like a rifle trigger should. Wanted a trigger feel like a bolt action. Very pleased. Easy to install but I do not like the set screws to hold the pins in.

Excelent drop in trigger group (29.11.2013)

Installation was very easy, just follow the steps and dont over tighten the locking screws. (my polymer receiver didn't like it, I could see where the set screws were pushing from the inside), but my I later put this in my forged aluminum receiver and it works great!! Trigger is super crisp, and the 3lb pull feels perfect. very short reset makes follow up shots quick.

Expensive and not worth it (25.12.2014)

Just trying some different triggers in my AR builds

Quality is good but the skeleton trigger has sharp

edges on it, so unless you always wear gloves

your trigger finger will be cut up, the 3ILb pull

is nice for fast shooting, but the trigger is set

up so close to the edge that by pressing on the

trigger with the safety on you can still drop the

hammer, which is why it didn't stay in a gun

very long, maybe the 4 ILb trigger will be better.

One of the best drop in triggers and its number 1 in my book. I have Timney in all my AR platforms 10, 15's never had any issues just a great single stage crisp drop in trigger
